At Eternal Women’s Health, we recognise that every person is unique, and every healthcare journey is different. Eternal was founded in 2018 by Dr Tania Hingston and Dr Emily Price out of a shared passion for holistic, integrated women’s healthcare and the need for a Hobart-based group Obstetric service. We have since grown to encompass a comprehensive gynaecological care service for the women of Hobart and Tasmania.
Dr Emily Price, Dr Tania Hingston and Dr Kate Mitchell provide general gynaecology services, along with care for normal-risk and more complex pregnancies. Dr Marian Chinnock, Dr Tim Hasted and Dr Jan Batt provide general gynaecological services including colposcopy, and office procedures. Each practitioner has different interest areas, which complement each other and allow us to cover a broad range of Obstetric and Gynaecological needs. By listening to your story, we will tailor care specific for your individual concerns.
Dr Tim Hasted will be joining Eternal Women’s Health in October 2023. Appointments available now.
Dr Jan Batt will be retiring from practice at the end of 2023. All existing patients will be offered care with an alternative Eternal Women’s Health Specialist as required.
Our doctors, along with the skilled and experienced midwives and complementary healthcare providers at Eternal Women’s Health, will care for you – at all ages, and all stages.
For all medicare rebatable services you will require a valid GP referral to access a rebate. For allied health and complementary medicine services you do not require a referral, and can book directly with our reception team.
Our practice is centrally located at Level 1, 2 Melville Street in Hobart. We do not have on site parking, but there is plenty of metered street parking within the vicinity.
